About Me

Me in a nutshell

My name is Jessica Ann Serra and I was born on October 31, 1989 (yes, Halloween.  My brother likes to tell me that when I was born the doctor said “I know it’s Halloween, but aren’t you a little young to be wearing a mask?” Ahh brotherly love…)

I live and grew up in CT, and really see no reason to want to stay here forever (except family, of course).  I live with my mom and older brother, and Curious (my baby), the cutest, most awesome cat EVER (so I may be a little biased..).

I also live amongst the spirit and memory of my Poppy (10.26.30-4.11.08), my Grandma (5.19.30-11.11.08), and my Dad (8.12.61-10.17.09). Too many lost too soon.

I am a “jewelier” designer, crafter, and lover of books and words.  I am fascinated by thoughts, fairy tales, and spangly things.  I’m obsessed with all things mini, stickers (or as I used to say, “sthickers”), and sleep.  I am extremely annoyed/frustrated by Silly Bandz, and I don’t know exactly why.

I like to drink things with a straw.  It seems to taste better that way.

I think Boy Meets World is one of the best shows ever, hands down.

I am an English major, daughter of a librarian and sister of an aspiring writer/fellow English major. No, I do not want to be a teacher.  (And yes, I will probably still have grammatical mistakes on here, despite my best effort not to).

If there is anything else you would like to know, please feel free to ask.  Just say pretty please…with sugar on top. (You don’t really have to say it, but I think the world could benefit from some politeness).

*Note* I don’t mind sharing my thoughts and ideas with you (if I did, I probably wouldn’t do it), all I ask is that you please do not use my ideas for your own (monetary) gain.  You can obviously use them for your own personal use, but I ask that you please ask/give proper credit to anything you would like to use more publicly.  I try my best to give credit to anyone/anything I gain my inspiration from, and anything that slips by is purely unintentional.
